Address monitoring means one or more wallet addresses are watched, so you find out the moment there is movement again. It is worthwhile when the funds are sitting still and you want to know when they are moved, rather than months later.<\/div>\n

What Paucitas does with address monitoring<\/h2>\n

We place the addresses from your file under address monitoring<\/a> and follow the incoming and outgoing transactions there. If there is movement you receive a notification with the amount, the time, the onward address and a short reading: is this a move between addresses of the same party, or is it heading for an exchange.<\/p>\n

With an outgoing move towards an exchange there is a short window in which your lawyer can act. That is why speed is the whole point of monitoring.<\/p>\n

What you supply<\/h2>\n

The addresses you want watched and the period. Those addresses often come from an earlier investigation; if they do not exist yet, that is the first step.<\/p>\n

What you receive<\/h2>\n

A notification per event and a periodic summary of what has been seen. At the end of the period, an overview that can be added to the file.<\/p>\n

Monitoring is pointless for an address that has already been emptied and whose funds went through a mixer. We say so up front rather than let a subscription run on.<\/p>\n

How to get started<\/h2>\n

You pass on the addresses and the period you have in mind. In a first conversation we decide together whether monitoring can achieve anything in your case.<\/p>\n

European supervisors publish background on crypto assets and the rules that apply to them: see ESMA<\/a> and EBA<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Monitoring prevents nothing and blocks nothing. It signals movement, so you and your lawyer can act in time.<\/p>\n
