This category sets out the technical basis: the blockchain itself, the blockchain transaction, blockchain analysis, money laundering, the chain reconstruction and the KYC and AML obligations that service providers are bound by. These are the building blocks on which every investigation into a flow of funds rests.<\/p>\n

Below we explain the technology and the terms that belong to this topic. Calm and traceable, in plain language. If you cannot work it out, we are glad to think along with you.<\/p>\n

These terms become relevant the moment an explanation has to be followed by someone without a technical background. A bank, an accountant or a judge wants to know where an amount came from and through which steps it moved. Without the right terms such an explanation quickly becomes imprecise, and imprecision costs evidential weight.
