The proposal may concern crypto, a project or a fund. Whether a specific offer falls under it is something that has to be investigated case by case.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"pterm-block\">\n<h2>What it may indicate<\/h2>\n<p class=\"pterm-p\">An offer that promises certainty, stays vague about the underlying investment, or is hard to verify, can be an indication that the picture has been constructed. It need not be. Only investigation of the party and the flows of funds can confirm or refute a suspicion.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"pterm-block\">\n<div class=\"pterm-ex\">Someone put money into a project that promised a fixed return, but afterwards could find little about the underlying activity.
