The intake is a single conversation in which three things become clear: what happened, which question you want answered, and whether an investigation can achieve anything in your situation. Only after that does anything start, and only then do you hear the price.

The steps of an intake at Paucitas

First you describe the course of events and the question. We test whether that question can be answered with blockchain data and which outcome is realistic. If an investigation is unlikely to achieve much, we say so in this conversation.

You then receive a data list: an overview of exactly the material needed, such as transactions, addresses, exports, correspondence and bank statements. Next we establish the starting point, for example whether the provider exists and whether you still have access to your wallet or account; that sets the scope. Finally you receive the engagement confirmation with the question, the scope, the lead time and the price.

What you supply

For the intake itself a short description is enough, plus whatever you happen to have to hand. It does not need to be complete; the rest follows through the list you receive after the conversation. Where needed we help with gathering it.
