Who does Paucitas work for?

In brief

Paucitas works for five groups: private individuals, directors and business owners, accountants and advisers, banks, notaries and compliance teams, and lawyers and insolvency practitioners. Each group asks different questions and needs a different document.

Paucitas is an independent blockchain investigation firm in Amsterdam. We establish facts about crypto holdings and crypto transactions and set them out in a report a third party can recalculate. Who that report is for determines its form.

The five groups

If you are not sure which group you fall into, start at the questions page or get in touch; one conversation usually settles it.

What differs per group

The facts are the same, the form is not. A private individual needs a readable report that can go to the bank or the lawyer. An accountant wants a table that fits the ledger. A lawyer wants a document with the question, the method and the limitations, and sometimes an oral explanation at the hearing.

That is why the intake starts by establishing who the document is for. See also how an intake works and what is in a report.

What we do not cover

Paucitas does not retrieve funds, does not give legal or tax advice and does not pronounce on liability or fault. We establish what actually happened; the judgement rests with your adviser, your lawyer or the court.

Contact

Paucitas usually replies within a few minutes to an hour, and in nearly all cases the same working day. Paucitas can be reached by phone around the clock on +31 20 244 5774. The office is at Weesperstraat 107 in Amsterdam; material can be handed over digitally or at the office.
