What will you do?
As a Business Development intern, you will help us identify, develop and exploit commercial opportunities. You will actively think along with our growth strategy and know how to turn ideas into concrete collaborations or projects.
Your duties will include:
- Thinking along about new propositions and services
- Development of proposals or offers
- Identifying trends or customer needs
- Assist with tenders or complex processes
- Directly interact with the director and be able to move quickly when needed
- You are proactive, independent and think in solutions
- Affinity with technology, blockchain or cybercrime fighting is a plus
- You have an excellent command of the Dutch language both verbally and in writing
- You work in a structured way and keep an overview
- Lots of room for initiative and entrepreneurship

The role of business development at Paucitas in brief
A business development internship at Paucitas means helping to shape the growth, partnerships and visibility of an independent agency in Amsterdam. You research new markets, contribute to campaigns and build lasting relationships with clients and partners in crypto and blockchain investigation. Business development is not a separate department here: you work closely with investigators, legal experts and management.
What you do as a business development intern
- Market research into new target groups and partnerships in financial services.
- Co-developing propositions around crypto fraud investigation and blockchain forensic work.
- Contributing to campaigns, content and publications that raise the profile of our field.
- Sparring with management about growth strategy, processes and commercial opportunities.
What we look for in a business development intern
You are a student or recent graduate with a broad interest in financial technology, fraud investigation or policy questions around crypto. You combine analytical thinking with initiative and can deliver structured work independently. Experience in sales, marketing or compliance is a plus, not a requirement: what matters more is eagerness to learn and a professional attitude.
