Expert report

An expert report records the findings of technical investigation in a traceable way: which data were examined, which steps were taken and what follows from them. Paucitas draws up such a report from the technical side and thereby supports lawyers and other legal professionals; the legal assessment and steps remain with them. Paucitas is not a lawyer and does nothing legal itself.

What it may indicate

A report that is clear and traceable makes it easier for others to check and weigh the findings. Whether the findings are decisive anywhere is not up to the report itself; that is an assessment made elsewhere. The report describes what has been established technically, no more and no less.

In a dispute, a lawyer needs a traceable picture of a flow of funds. Paucitas investigates the transactions and records the findings in a report. The lawyer then uses that report within the legal process; that process itself lies outside the work of Paucitas.

What is an expert report?

A document that records technical findings in a traceable way. Paucitas writes it from the technical side and supports legal professionals; the legal weighing remains with them.

Does an expert report give a legal judgment?

No. It describes what has been established technically. The legal weight is assessed by the court and the legal professionals, not by Paucitas.
